If only twins were born clutching onto their very own guide book! A unique one for each, as I may have needed one this week...

For some background, I've been having REAL trouble with Emilia recently. Her behaviour and attitude towards me and her siblings (even the cats are treading on egg shells). Until yesterday, where all of a sudden she changed, like instantly...

She metamorphized into my lovely, cute, caring and kind little girl, the one that I thought was long gone. She is back to asking if everyone is ok, giving out cuddles to everyone and just generally being more manageable. But life would be too easy if this was where it ended.

Kindly, she's passed the baton onto Evelyn. Now the once placid, sweet and quiet Evelyn has turned into Alice in Wonderlands, Queen of Hearts. Screeching at me, shouting at her brother and just being a not very nice toddler. The minute I leave the room I can hear her shrill voice "Mummy, come back, don't go upstairs". Seriously, give a girl a break!

But, this is only for me. They both behave themselves at preschool, the childminders and of course for dear old Dad, who can do no wrong. For reasons unknown, I seem to get the majority of the 'bad bits'. What does everyone do in this situation?

Having twins is great don't get me wrong, but when you're faced with situations like this it makes it all so much harder to deal with. Then throw a 3rd child into the mix (who thinks he's a Dinosaur... most of the time) and some days its feels like Jurassic Park... after they all escape AND the volcanic eruption!

So for now, I'm riding it out. I would have a large glass of wine from one of the few bottles left over from Christmas, but at the point of writing this its 10.36am and I'm not sure if that's socially acceptable?
